About Nabil Captan
Nabil Captan is a nationally recognized credit-scoring expert, educator, and an approved instructor with the California Department of Real Estate. Nabil is the founder and president of Financial DVDs Inc., a company dedicated to revolutionizing financial education and improving financial literacy. Nabil has been nominated for the U.S. Small Business Administration's "Financial Services Champion of The Year 2010."
Driven by his dedication to help others become financially literate, Nabil created and produced The Credit DVD, Your Credit Score, El DVD del Crédito and Su Calificación del Crédito.
Time Life has picked up The Credit DVD series for nationwide market testing.
Nabil has been involved in the world of finance for 30 years. After attending San Diego State University and majoring in cost accountancy, he worked overseas for AEC Westinghouse Electric as a financial comptroller, and lived in Monrovia, Liberia, for 11 years and in London, UK, for two years. He currently resides with his wife and three children in Huntington Beach, California, where he has spent the past 19 years in the credit management and lending industries.
An active participant in the credit education of the Latino community, Nabil is a member of the advisory board of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals’ (NAHREP) Orange County chapter.
Nabil’s vast knowledge of credit scores and his passion for educating others make him a remarkable trainer and consultant, as well as a captivating speaker.
